New Pastoral Assignments

Bishop Brennan has let us know that we can share with you the good news concerning two of our priests here at Saint Joseph Cathedral who have been appointed pastors in our Diocese.  Father Hilary Ike, who has served here at the Cathedral for a number of years, has been appointed by Bishop Brennan to serve as Administrator of Saint Mary parish in Groveport. Father Ike will do a wonderful job in seeing to the care of the parishioners there in his ministry. Father Ike will also continue to work in the Diocesan Tribunal.  Also, Father Cyrus Haddad has been appointed pastor of Saint Colman of Cloyne parish in Washington Court House.  No doubt Frather Haddad will do a wonderful job in serving the people of Saint Colman’s. We are waiting for official word from the Bishop as to who may be assigned here to the Cathedral, but in the meantime please pray for and congratulate Father Ike and Father Haddad. These assignment changes will likely begin during the normal time in July, but that does have the potential to change given some of the unknowns that all of us in Ohio are dealing with at this time as a result of the coronavirus. I will keep you updated.

May God bless Father Ike's and Father Haddad’s ministries.  We thank them for the years of dedicated service to the parish of Saint Joseph Cathedral.
