Parish Picnic

Join us for Food, Fun, Family and Friends at the Saint Joseph Cathedral Parish Picnic.

Blendon Woods Park in Westerville (Sycamore area) - See directions and map below.

Sunday, July 27, 2003 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 p.m.

Mass at 12:00 PM Noon.

Fabulous Food Family Fun  Live Entertainment
  • Knights of Columbus will grill hot dogs and hamburgers.
  • Cathedral Parish Council will provide table covers, flatware, napkins, meat and cheese, condiments, buns, soft drinks and coffee.
  • Bring a dish to share:
    • If your last name begins with A through I, bring dessert;
    • If your last name begins with J through Q, bring a covered dish
    • If your last name begins with R through Z, bring a salad.
  • Bring games, cards, chairs, balls and sports equipment, playing cards and your camera.
  • Country-Western, blues and rock music provided by TAYLOR STATION featuring Cathedral parishioner Deacon Jim Gorski

Directions and Map to Blendon Woods:

Blendon Woods is located at 4265 East Dublin-Granville Road off State Route 161, 1 mile east of I-270 East.

  • Take I-270 to Route 161 East

  • Take the New Albany exit and travel to the Little Turtle exit.

  • Turn right at the Little Turtle exit (toward old State Route 161) and turn right again at Old State Route 161.  Park entrance is on the left.

  • After entering the park, follow the signs to the Sycamore Area.

Blendon Woods is home to wooded upland forests and ravines, the Waldon Waterfowl Refuge and Thoreau Lake.

Please no arrivals before 11:00 A.M. due to park regulations.

Please do not feed the wild animals!
