St. Joseph Cathedral is located in beautiful downtown, Columbus, Ohio.  The Cathedral is located in Cathedral Square at the corner of East Broad Street and 5th Street.

There is a handicap accessible elevator located at the first door on the west side of the Cathedral.

PARKING FOR WEEKEND MASSES:
We now have permission to park in southeast parking lot located at Gay and 5th Streets on the weekends. The Diocesan parking lot north of the Cathedral parking lot (across Gay St.) will also be open for all weekend Masses from now on. Do keep in mind that other surrounding private lots are periodically monitored and the owners do have the right to ticket or charge a fee.

Driving Directions to the Cathedral:

Please visit www.pavingtheway.org for construction-related detours.

• From the North:
  1.  Take I-71 South towards downtown Columbus.
  2.  Take the Broad Street exit.  Turn right onto Broad Street.
  3.  Turn right onto 5th Street (the street that runs along the side of the Cathedral).  The parking lots are located behind the Cathedral.

• From the South or West:
  1a.  From the South: Take I-71 North to Downtown Columbus.
  1b.  From the West: Take I-70 East to Downtown Columbus.
  2.  Take Exit 100B, US 23 North, Fourth Street, and Livingston Avenue.
  3.  Pass 3^rd Street (first traffic light) and turn left onto 4^th Street (second traffic light).
  4.  Turn right onto East Broad Street, heading east.  Maneuver into the left lane.
  5.  Turn left at next light onto 5th Street (the street that runs along the side of the Cathedral).  The parking lots are located behind the Cathedral.

• From the East:
  1.  I-670 West to Downtown Columbus.
  2.  Exit 3^rd Street (exit is on the left).  Do not take the High Street Exit.
  3.  Turn left onto East Broad Street, heading east.
  4.  At the second light, turn left onto North 5^th Street (the street that runs along the side of the Cathedral).  The parking lots are located behind the Cathedral.
