BAPTISMS:
Baptisms can be performed during the 10:30 Mass on the second Sunday of the month.  Only children under the age of 9 months are to be baptized at the 10:30 Mass.

Baptisms can also be performed after the 12:30 p.m. (1:30 p.m.) Mass on other Sundays.

During the season of Advent, baptisms can be scheduled after the 12:30 Mass.  There are no baptisms at the 10:30 a.m. Mass during Advent.

There are no Baptisms during Lent and no Baptisms when the Bishop is presiding. 

Parents must attend a Baptismal workshop before the Baptism can be scheduled.

BAPTISMAL WORKSHOP:
The Baptismal workshop is held the second Tuesday, every other month (starting in January) at 7PM in the undercroft of the Cathedral. This is a one-day only workshop and lasts about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Discussion is in regard to the history of Baptism, a bit of theology, symbolism in Baptism, and a practicum portion letting parents know what actually happens in the Baptismal ceremony.
