BAPTISMAL WORKSHOP
JULY 8, 7:00 P.M.:
Deacon Jim Gorski, will discuss the history of Baptism, a bit of theology,
symbolism in Baptism and a practicum portion giving the parents knowledge
about the actual Baptismal ceremony. For more information and to register,

AUGUST - R.C.I.A.
INQUIRY SESSIONS:
These sessions are intended for adults interested in the Catholic faith
(Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults R.C.I.A.). Join us during the
Sundays in August after the 10:30 a.m. Mass in the Cathedral Undercroft
for faith sharing and for questions and answers about the Church. Contact

Parishioners wishing to have a home, hospital or nursing home
visit; please contact Deacon Tom Johnston at (614) 267-1903 or thomjohnst@aol.com
to make arrangements.
MASS INTENTIONS - REMEMBER YOUR LOVED ONES:
You can offer a Mass for those who are ill, deceased, friends,
family and for special occasions. Stipends are $10.00 for each intention
and can be mailed to the parish office to the attention of Katie Finneran
Slattery. You may also call the parish office at (614) 224-1295 or e–mail
kslattery@columbus.rr.com (When e-mailing your request, please enter “Mass
Intention” in the subject line or mark your envelope.)
PARKING FOR WEEKEND MASSES:
We now have permission to park in southeast parking lot located at Gay and
5th Streets on the weekends. The Diocesan parking lot north of the
Cathedral parking lot (across Gay St.) will also be open for all weekend
Masses from now on. Do keep in mind that other surrounding private lots
are periodically monitored and the owners do have the right to ticket or
charge a fee.
NEW CATHEDRAL MUSIC WEBSITE
The new Cathedral Music website is located at
www.cathedralmusic.org.
NEW OR MOVING PARISHIONERS:
New parishioners may register by calling the Cathedral Parish
Office or you can access a registration form from our web site:
www.saintjosephcathedral.org . Those with changes in their family status,
address or telephone number, please notify the Parish Office by calling
(614) 224-1295 or e-mail to: kslattery@columbus.rr.com.
